Innocence and youth,
For now her assets,
And her charm.
Too quickly innocence is gone;
Too soon the youth will fade.
The innocence will not be missed,
For wisdom takes it’s place.
The youthfulness, once it is gone,
Can never be recalled,
Except in longing memories
Of innocence and youth.
