I hope and pray that I am here
To catch each tear you cry
Through all the years ahead of us.
Please say you’ll let me try.
If I should ever be the cause
For any of your tears,
I pray that you’ll forgive me and
Stay with me through the years.
I’ll try to make you happy but
At times those tears may fall.
I hope and pray that I am here
To try and catch them all.
