There once was a time when I was alone,
And I was prepared to be on my own.
I never believed that I’d love again,
But you came and showed how wrong I have been.
You taught me to smile instead of to frown,
And you picked me up each time I was down.
You’ve opened my eyes and helped me to see
No one should be lonely, not even me.
I once was afraid to ever grow old.
It seemed all my days were empty and cold.
The you came along and set me on fire
When you filled my heart with burning desire.
My life has been changes since I felt your touch.
