Brother, Sister, Mom, and Dad,
And little Robbie too.
We’ve all had some bad times,
But we’ve had some good times too.
Brother has a girlfriend
To whom he is always kind.
He seldom has time for me,
But I don’t mind.
Sister has her stereo
Which she always listens to.
Sometimes (if I’m quiet)
She lets me listen too.
Mom and Dad must work each day
So they are always tired.
Although I’m only eight years old,
Understanding is something I’ve acquired.
Brother, Sister, Mom, and Dad,
Each weekend they play cards.
I ask to play, but I’m too young,
So I’m trying to learn real hard.
God, I love my family,
And I always tell them so.
But I don’t know if they love me,
‘Cause they never let me know.
