I CAN’T FIND YOU

Today I tried to call your house,
But you were not at home,
And suddenly I realized
That I was all alone.

I then went down to where you work,
And found that you weren’t there.
I told them that I must find you.
They didn’t seem to care.

I’ve searched throughout this lonely town
And yet, it always seems
That I can’t find you anywhere,
Except for in my dreams.
