Those phrases from an old love song
Which seem to linger loud and long
Are trapped within my memories of you.
Those phrases which have touched my heart,
Like “I love you†or “never partâ€
Remind me of the love I shared with you.
Each time I hear that simple tune
I think about the month of June
And of the love we found together then,
And when I hear that melody
It never fails to sadden me
And make me want to love you once again.
