LUCKY TONIGHT

As I watch you dancing
With someone else holding you tight,
I get the feeling
That you won’t be lonely tonight.
Though you came with me,
I know you’re not totally mine.
We both choose who we see,
And we both say that suits us just fine.

Then when I see you out there
Moving around on the floor,
I realize that I care
And I find I’m wanting you more.
So I’ll go out on a limb
And say the things that you want to hear.
Will it be with me or with him
That you leave when you’re ready to leave here?
You see, I want to know
Who will be lucky tonight?
