HOW IT USED TO BE

I’ve packed away your photographs
And all the letters you had sent to me.
‘Cause every time I look at them
It makes me think of how it used to be.

I wish that you were here with me
So I could show exactly how I feel.
But you don’t love me anymore,
And I just can’t believe that this is real.

I’ll love you ’til the end of time
‘Cause I am just a fool,
And the tears I’m crying for you now
Are forming in a pool.
My sorrow over losing you
Is really hurting me,
And I hope that soon I will forget
Just how it used to be.
