I’LL BE LEAVING HOME TONIGHT

I never thought I’d get so mad
At anyone as beautiful as you,
But every true love has its faults
And every romance has its problems too.

You said your love for me was gone
And you’d just as soon not see me anymore.
So I’ll be leaving home tonight
And you won’t know it ‘til I slam the door.

It hurt so much
To know that you
No longer cared for me.
So I’ll be leaving home tonight
With just my memories.
