You came into my life
At an important point,
When I needed you the most.
I’ve been lonely in the past,
And only just recently
Have I begun to realize
That I need someone
Who will take the time
To listen to my ideas
And offer hope for my dreams.
I need someone to love,
And love me in return.
I was nearly prepared
To accept what I had
And face life alone,
Then quietly and suddenly
You came into my life.
