ONE FINAL DANCE

I miss the way you used to dance
So gracefully across the floor.
You used to make me wish that we
Could keep dancing forevermore.

Your gentle smile and subtle moves
Brought envy from the others who
Would sit along the sides and watch
Our steps as I would dance with you.

I wish that you were with me now
Just so that I might have the chance
To hold you closely in my arms
And share with you one final dance.
